I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Politics and Global Studies at Arizona State University. 

I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Houston. My research interests center on social identities and public policy in American Politics. I often apply intersectionality in my research and study the effects of race/ethnicity, gender, and other identities on different aspects of the policymaking process.

My research has been published in highly regarded, peer-reviewed academic journals, including the American Review of Public Administration and Politics, Groups, and Identities.
